Caesars Windsor shows play The Colosseum, a 5,000-seat theatre inside the resort, with over 50 concerts, comedy nights and special events a year. Tickets come from Ticketmaster or the Caesars Windsor Box Office. Shows are open to all ages unless the listing says otherwise, and everyone passes a metal detector and a bag search at the door. Tickets and the Box Office
- Where to buy
- Ticketmaster or the Caesars Windsor Box Office.
- Box Office hours
- Fridays, Saturdays and show days, 1pm to 9pm.
- Picking up
- At the Box Office or Will Call.
- Refunds
- No refunds or exchanges. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, tickets may be refunded where you bought them.
- Late arrival
- The show starts at the time on your ticket. If you’re not inside by then, you may be held at the door until a suitable break.
Age rules for shows
- All-ages by default
- All shows are open to all ages unless otherwise stated, and any limit appears with the event listing.
- Young children
- Anyone 12 or younger must come with someone 16 or older, or may be refused entry.
- Elsewhere in the resort
- The casino floor and the bars, including Cosmos, Vu Bar and Legends, are 19+.
- A conflicting tag
- The venue’s own page shows a “19+” tag, which doesn’t match the all-ages rule, so check the listing for your show.
Security, bags and what you can’t bring
- Screening
- Everyone walks through a metal detector and has their bag searched. Shoes, belts, hair clips and small jewellery stay on, but metal in your pockets comes out. Refusing can mean no entry and no refund.
- Bags
- 7 × 5 inches (17.8 × 12.7 cm) or smaller is recommended. Up to 8 × 11 inches (20.3 × 28 cm) is at security’s discretion. No large bags or backpacks, and no refund if yours is turned away.
- Medical equipment
- Bags with medical equipment are allowed, and are searched too.
- Not allowed
- Weapons, projectiles, laser pointers, large containers, and outside food or drink, including alcohol.
- Cameras
- No audio or video recorders, tablets, or professional or consumer cameras. Phone photos may be allowed at the artist’s discretion, without flash.
- Smoking
- No smoking, e-cigarettes or cannabis inside. Smoking in the theatre means removal with no refund.
- Stepping out
- One rule says there’s no re-entry once you’ve left. The smoking rule says you can leave during the show for the designated area outside the McDougall Street entrance and return through the lobby level. Ask staff before you go.
- Conduct
- Harassment or heckling can get you removed without a refund and barred from the property.
Accessible seating
- Seats
- The Colosseum has accessible seating and venue features. The resort says to review the venue information when you buy, and guest services has more detail.
- Getting around
- Accessible routes run through the hotel, gaming, dining and entertainment areas.
- Wheelchairs
- May be available at the Concierge Desk. They’re free, with a credit card and a signed waiver.
- Support persons
- Staff offer reasonable help, or let a support person who’s with you assist.
Parking for a show
- Self-parking
- Free, in the Caesars Windsor garage, connected to the resort by a covered Skybridge, so you don’t go outdoors.
- Valet
- Entrance on McDougall Street, just south of Riverside Drive.
- Show nights
- Demand rises during major concerts, so allow extra time.
Getting there
- Address for GPS
- 377 Riverside Drive East, Windsor.

- Through the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel or over the Ambassador Bridge. Allow extra time for customs, especially on holidays and weekends.
- Border documents
- Carry what’s required to enter Canada and to return to the US.
Before and after the show
Hotel details are on the Caesars Windsor card, and it’s worth reading the age rules if you’re crossing from Michigan: 19 is the limit here, not 21.
- Dinner first
- Neros Steakhouse, Spago Trattoria and Legends Sports Bar are the resort’s suggestions.
- After the show
- Cosmos has live local bands and DJs, and Vu Bar has views of the Detroit skyline. Both are 19+.
- Rooms nearby
- The Augustus Tower is the closest, and the only one open to all ages.
Other 5,000-seat casino stages
The OLG Stage at Fallsview seats the same 5,000 and also defaults to all ages. Casino Rama concerts are in a room of the same size, but those shows default to 19+.
