About CasinoOntario.org

CasinoOntario.org is an independent guide to the places in Ontario where you can gamble in person: the 30 casinos and slot facilities and the 37 charitable gaming centres. For each one we answer the practical questions: where it is, who runs it, what’s on the floor, whether there’s a hotel, and what to know before you go.

Who is behind it

The guide is written and maintained by the CasinoOntario.org editorial team. We are not owned or paid by OLG, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) or any casino operator, and none of them sees our pages before they go live.

What we don’t do

• We don’t review or rank gambling websites.
• We don’t publish bonuses, promotions or offers of any kind.
• We don’t accept payment for coverage or for a place in any list.
• We don’t take bets or sell anything.

How we keep it accurate

Every fact is checked against an official source: the venue or its operator, OLG or the regulator. We log each check in our own files rather than on the page; email admin@casinoontario.org and we’ll tell you where any detail came from. When something changes, we update the page and its date. The details are on how we verify.

How the site is paid for

Right now the site carries no advertising and no commercial links. If that changes, for example with links to hotel bookings near a casino, those links will be labelled, and they will never decide what we write about a venue.
